Following the
interest generated at the CBSN events in October, SWEA are keen to explore the
possibilities for providing YEP! to new areas. The attached wider implementation
document outlines some early ideas of potential routes for delivery, whilst the
newsletter provides an insight into recent events in Gloucestershire. Currently
the most potential appears to be in approach that would see SWEA delivering
training to councils, or consortia of councils and local delivery partners.
Training could be delivered in staged workshops providing know-how and materials
to equip attendees to deliver each phase of the project in school pilots in
their area. Workshops could be supported by follow up support programmes so that
SWEA could assist with individual delivery issues to ensure successful pilots
enabling independent delivery after the training phase.
